[In-person tour] Rediscover this neighborhood south of Houston Street (SoHo), once a high-end residential neighborhood, then commercial district, and now a destination for shopping and entertainment. Travel back in time with tour guide Ginny Poleman and start at the early 19th century home of FDR’s great-grandfather; visit the SoHo Cast Iron historic district; see a building designed by the renowned architectural firm McKim, Mead & White; admire the Beaux Arts beauty of the former 1909 NYPD police headquarters; check-out a contemporary interpretation of 19th century architecture; and hear the stories along the way.
